What New Products Has Yitailock Been Developing Lately?

Product development doesn't stop just because the core range is already solid. Yitailock has been quietly expanding its lineup over the past period — primarily in the industrial hinge space, but also into a handful of adjacent areas that reflect where customer demand has been pointing. Here's a look at what's new.

New Industrial Hinges

The bulk of the new development has been on the industrial side, specifically hinges for distribution boxes, control cabinets, and electrical enclosures. A few new models are worth noting.

The first is a heavy-duty black industrial hinge with a multi-knuckle barrel and threaded studs for direct panel mounting. It's built for enclosures that see frequent use or carry heavier doors — the kind of application where a standard hinge starts to show wear faster than it should. The black finish also suits cabinets where appearance alongside durability is a consideration.

The second is the CL251-2, a zinc alloy hinge with a brushed 304 stainless steel cover plate in a sand chrome finish. At 687g and 114.5mm wide, it's a substantial piece of hardware designed for larger cabinet doors that need consistent, smooth operation over time. The cover plate gives it a cleaner look than a fully exposed hinge, which makes it a natural fit for switchgear panels and control cabinets where the door face matters.

Both models reflect the same general direction — industrial hinges that handle demanding conditions without needing frequent attention.

Beyond Industrial Hardware

Alongside the enclosure-focused work, development has also moved into a few less expected areas.

A new coat hook designed for high-speed trains and RVs has been added to the range. The chrome finish and recessed oval profile give it a polished, low-profile look that suits interior fittings where hardware needs to blend in rather than stand out. It comes with its own mounting bracket and hardware, making installation straightforward.

There's also a new hidden cross hinge — a concealed hinge designed for wardrobe doors and wooden doors where a visible barrel would affect the finished look. It sits fully recessed when the door is closed, which keeps the door face clean. It's a different market from industrial enclosures, but the underlying requirement is the same: hardware that works reliably without drawing attention to itself.

On top of these, a small range of RV locks has also been developed, covering a few different models suited to that application.

A Broader Range

What ties these new products together is less about category and more about approach — identifying where existing hardware either doesn't exist or doesn't quite fit, and filling that gap with something purpose-built. The industrial hinge work continues to be the main focus, but the expansion into adjacent areas shows the range is moving in a broader direction than strictly enclosure hardware.
